The church of St Edward the Confessor stands in the heart of the busy town of Romford, surrounded by its shops, houses, pubs, clubs and businesses and famous market. There has been a church here since 1410 serving what was an Essex market town and now is the bustling and vibrant place where Essex and East London meet.

The present church was completed in 1850 on the site of the church of 1410 and it continues its ministry of worship and welcome. The church is open each day as a place for prayer and quiet. Services take place at various times during the week, and we extend a warm welcome to regular members and occasional visitors alike.

More information on the church can be found at stedwardsromford.org

Its obviously a busy location, especially on market days (although thats when I set the cache!) The cache is NOT in the churchyard itself.

The cache has a log book but no pen so please bring one with you. You are looking for a 35mm film container.

If any body would like to expand to this series please do, could you please let sadexploration know first so he can keep track of the Church numbers and names to avoid duplication.
